Menas 2.0: talk your research through with Menas, live

New in Menas 2.0: Menas Mode, a live voice session. Ask, interrupt, ask for the source, and Menas answers from your research, with the sources on screen.

Until now, you typed to Menas. From today, you can also talk to him.

Menas 2.0 introduces Menas Mode: a live voice session about the research that has just finished. Ask the way you would ask a colleague with the research in front of them. “Which judgment says that?” “What wasn’t covered?” Menas answers from your research and shows you, on screen, the sources he mentions.

What a session is like

A short example. The matter is made up; it only shows how the conversation flows.

Example Menas Mode session (fictional matter)
Menas: "You asked whether a claim for an unpaid invoice is time-barred. The research concludes that what matters is when the amount fell due, with the caveat that it did not examine whether the debtor acknowledged the debt in writing. There are five sources. What would you like to look at?"
You: "Which judgment says it most clearly?"
Menas: "Source P2. There the court counts the time from…"
The card for source P2 appears on screen, ready to open.
You: (interrupting) "And if they paid part of it last year?"
Menas: "Your research doesn't cover that."
A suggestion for new research appears on screen. Nothing is sent without you.
You: "Can we look into this more deeply?"
Menas: "A Deep Dive continues this research in more depth and uses 3 AI units. Shall I start it? Please say yes or no."
You: "Yes."
Menas: "All right. The Deep Dive has started. You will see it in this conversation when it is ready."

How it works

  • It starts from finished research. In your conversation, press “Menas Mode (Live Session)”. Menas opens with a short overview: what you asked, what was found, how many sources there are and what was left open.
  • You speak naturally. In Greek, English or Russian. You can interrupt him, mute the microphone, or speak only while you hold a button.
  • He answers from the research and its sources. Menas checks the sources, case numbers, laws, dates and amounts he mentions against the research. If he cannot confirm something, he tells you.
  • You see what you hear. Live captions and, beside them, the sources Menas mentioned, ready to open. The written transcript stays in the conversation.
  • He does not start new research on his own. If you ask something the research does not cover, he says so and leaves a suggestion for new research on screen. You decide whether to send it.
  • Deep Dive by voice. When the research has open questions, you can ask for a Deep Dive out loud. Menas tells you the price first and starts only on a clear “yes”. You can also answer on screen.
  • Pick up later. A conversation’s time can be spread over several sessions. When you come back, Menas reminds you where you left off and you carry on from there.

Who has it and what it costs

Menas Mode is available from the Professional plan upwards, in the web app. It is coming to the mobile apps soon.

Your plan includes 15 minutes a month, up to 5 minutes per conversation (up to 10 on Enterprise). If you want to carry on beyond that, each five-minute block you start costs 2 AI units, paid before it begins. Nothing is charged unless you agree first.

The voice is AI, not a person. For a legal conclusion, rely on the written answer and its sources.

Menas Boost: research and Deep Dive with one approval

With Menas Boost you approve the research and the Deep Dive together, once, after seeing the price. You get the research answer first, and Menas then carries on into Deep Dive on his own where it adds supporting material. When it finishes, you have more to talk through in Menas Mode. Menas Boost is also available from the Professional plan upwards, in the web app.

A new home: start with the conversation

The home page opens straight into a conversation. Type what you need and attach PDFs, Word (.docx) files or photos from the very first message. Your earlier conversations are right beside it.

Need to understand or review a court document? Just ask. Menas reads the whole document you choose, one at a time. If something is missing or a page cannot be read, he tells you.

Clearer answers

When you clarify something, the facts you gave stay. Research separates more clearly what applies directly to your matter from what is only comparable guidance, and pays closer attention to changes in the law and to the dates that decide which provision applies. More in the article on Synthesis 2.0.

When an answer leaves an important question open, Deep Dive continues from there and looks first for what was missing. It costs 3 AI units, and you see that before it starts. After a Deep Dive, you start a new conversation for a new question. We do not promise perfect or exhaustive research; our aim is more careful answers.

Open Menas, run your research and press Menas Mode to talk it through. Menas supports legal work. You assess the sources and make the final professional judgment.
